We are so excited to share this beautiful piece of the world with you! We have opted to keep the cost of renting our cabin low by not listing it on a short-term rental site. We are not trying to make a large profit, we just want to share our cabin with you while covering some of the operating costs. We use the cabin on a regular basis, so you will notice some of our personal belongings around. We hope that you make yourself at home and enjoy it as much as we do!
Cost
$150 per night (no additional taxes or fees)
No minimum stay.
We accept payment through Venmo, Zelle, or check.
Pets
We allow well-behaved pets. We ask that you do not allow them on the furniture and that you clean up after them. There is no fenced area, so please keep your pet on a leash if you are unsure about their ability to be off-leash. We have seen lots of posts on Nextdoor about lost pets in the area.
Cleaning & Trash
In order to keep costs low, we do not have cleaning or trash services. Therefore, we ask that you do some light cleaning before you leave and that you take your trash & recycling with you.
Food
Grocery Stores: The closest grocery store is about 45 minutes away in Fairplay. The Jefferson Market has some essentials, but it is best to bring the food you'll need with you.
Restaurants: The Stagestop Saloon is about 15 minutes away and offers some food options, and Jefferson Market has a small restaurant. There are also some nice restaurants in Fairplay, about 45 minutes away. Their hours of operation vary seasonally, so we recommend calling them beforehand to verify that they are open.

Explore the Tarryall area, including Tarryall Reservoir, Tarryall Creek, and many mountains
Hiking in Pike National Forest
